1. Subject and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Yardnotesco (“company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the Yardnotesco website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue use immediately.

Yardnotesco provides educational resources specifically designed for new residents of Canada, with a focus on Montreal and the province of Quebec. Our services include, but are not limited to, guides on:

• The Canadian banking infrastructure and account classifications.
• Credit score engineering and financial history building.
• Quebec-specific tax compliance and reporting.
• Lease and mortgage protocols for newcomers.
• Registered savings plans (RRSP, TFSA, FHSA).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site.

3. Rules of Use and Prohibitions

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Yardnotesco and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of the district of Montreal shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.

Consistent with the Civil Code of Quebec and the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), we ensure that your rights as a resident of Quebec are respected in our data handling and contractual practices.
